Wesley College currently has three working registered departments by NACTEVET whereby each department offers its programs from Certificate Level to Diploma Level. The current registered departments are the department of Community development, the department of Business Administration, the department of Social work. However the college has a department of Computer science and IT which works as supporting department by providing basic computer short courses and also providing IT services to the college in various areas. The college is expecting to register the department fully so that the department can start providing long term courses and also registered professional computer courses.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION​
The Department of Business Administration offers quality education through competence-based teaching methodology, aiming to be the leading provider of technical and current education through practical training. The department is composed of skilled academic staff trained to provide technical education in Business Administration, and collaborates with the community through field work and seminars related to the courses.
The Department of Business Administration offers diverse career options for students, equipping them with skills and knowledge applicable in various industries such as banking, finance, insurance, hospitality, tourism, trade, government, and nonprofits.
TRAINING PROGRAMMES OFFERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Department of Business Administration offer training programmes which are Basic Technician Certificate in Business Administration (NTA Level 4), Technician Certificate in Business Administration (NTA Level 5), and Ordinary Diploma in Business Administration (NTA Level 6).
AN OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT​

The Department of Community Development coordinates Community development, leadership, and project planning programs at Wesley College. This is achieved through classroom education, research, outreach services, consultancy, and advisory services in the areas of community development, leadership, human rights, and project planning and management among others.
​
It is the expectation of the department in the near future to offer programs such as Project planning and management, leadership and management, and Human rights and advocacy at Certificate and Diploma level. Students in the department learn both theoretical and practical knowledge that can help them to engage in community projects, through either self-employment or formal employment.
Students graduating from our department can further be enrolled in higher level programs in related fields like human rights, social work, and project planning and management. Currently the department has fully qualified staff members who are engaged on teaching, research and consultancy as well as community services.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WORK

The Department of Social Work trains social workers who can work directly or indirectly as generic practitioners in communities and in various social welfare agencies including public, private, voluntary and non-governmental organizations. It is also envisaged that such training will produce both proactive and reactive social workers who can effectively respond to the newly emerging social problems in the contemporary societies. Through its curricula the department also aims to produce graduates who can self-employ themselves to respond to societal needs.

The School of Theology exists to educate and form graduates who are front-line community workers for rural and urban areas who speak to the current challenges of the world, and who lead communities towards the presence of God’s kingdom on earth.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND IT
The School of Computer Science and Technology is committed to forming students who will contribute to the development of appropriate technology all over Tanzania. Many times there is a disconnect between what is seen as a possible solution in a lab or boardroom and what actually happens on the ground. Students from this school will provide that connection as they will have the ability to foster the technological leaps needed for development to take place in Tanzania.
